Step 1: Prepare your lips
- Exfoliate your lips to remove any dry, dead skin for a smooth, even surface.
- Apply a lightweight lip balm to moisturize, then wait for the rest of your makeup to be done so the balm can absorb.
Step 2: Apply to the bottom lip
- Remove any excess product from the applicator before you start.
- Apply the lipstick to your bottom lip, starting from the center and working your way to the outer corners.
- Carefully line the edge of your bottom lip.
Step 3: Apply to the top lip
- Apply the color to your top lip, focusing on the Cupid's bow first and working outwards.
- Line the rest of the top lip with precision.
Step 4: Blend and set
- Once the product is applied to both lips, press them together to blend the color. This is a suggested step from the manufacturer, however, some sources recommend not pressing your lips together too soon to let the product dry separately.
- Allow the lipstick to dry completely for a long-lasting finish.
