Steps for Using the Concealer Palette
- Prep Your Skin: Begin with a freshly cleansed and moisturized face. Apply makeup primer to create a smooth base for makeup application.
- Color Correct:
- Identify Undertones: Understand that colors opposite each other on the color wheel cancel each other out (e.g., peach cancels blue, orange cancels blue, and yellow cancels purple).
- Apply Correctors: Using a small brush, apply the appropriate color corrector to the specific areas needing correction.
- Use peach or orange concealers to neutralize blue or purple-toned dark circles.
- Use yellow or green concealers to correct redness.
- Blend the Corrector: Gently pat and blend the corrector into your skin. Avoid stretching the skin, and use a dabbing or bouncing motion with a finger, brush, or damp beauty blender.
- Allow to Set: Let the color corrector sit on the skin for a minute or two before applying the next layer, allowing it to settle.
- Apply Skin-Tone Concealer: Apply a concealer shade that matches your natural skin tone over the corrected area. This will provide coverage and ensure a natural finish.
- Blend for a Seamless Look: Using a damp beauty blender with a pressing and bouncing motion, or a similar technique with a brush, blend the concealer into your skin. Avoid dragging motions, which can disturb the corrected color.
- Apply Foundation: Once you have a smooth, blended base from your concealer, you can proceed with applying your foundation, notes Make Up Studio Concealer Palette (EP001).
