Preparation
- Clean the eye area: Ensure your eyelids and the area around your eyes are clean and free of excess oil or makeup. This helps the kajal last longer and prevents smudging.
Application
- Twist up the product: Gently twist the base of the pencil to reveal a small amount of the kajal stick.
- Steady your hand: Rest your dominant hand on a flat surface, like a table or your cheek, for better control and precision.
- Apply to the upper lid:
- Gently pull your upper eyelid taut with your non-dominant hand.
- Starting from the inner corner of your eye, draw a neat stroke along the lash line, extending outwards.
- You can make the line thin for a subtle look or thicker for a more dramatic effect.
- Apply to the lower lid:
- Gently pull down your lower eyelid to expose the waterline.
- Starting from the inner corner (or the outer edge, depending on preference), draw a line along the lower lash line or waterline, moving outwards.
Tips for Different Looks
- Smoky Look: Immediately after applying the kajal, use a smudging brush or your ring finger to gently blend the line before it sets.
- Bold Look: Reapply an additional coat on both the upper and lower lash lines to intensify the color.
- Winged Eyeliner: Extend the line from the outer corner of your upper lash line with a short line tilting upward at a 45-degree angle to create a small wing.
