For pot-based gel eyeliner 

• Prepare the brush: Dip the brush into the gel liner, then wipe off any excess on the back of the container. 
• Apply to lash line: Starting from the inner corner, glide the brush across your lash line in short, smooth strokes, working your way to the outer corner. 
• Build for thickness: You can make the line thicker or longer as needed. Extend the line at the outer corner for a winged effect. 
• Smudge for a smokey eye: For a softer look, use the brush to gently smudge the line before it fully sets.
