Eye Makeup Steps
- Base Color: Use a large brush to apply a light, neutral base color (matte or shimmer, as preferred) across the entire eyelid and up to the brow bone.
- Define the Crease: Use a smaller, fluffier brush to blend a medium-to-darker shade into the eye crease to add depth and dimension.
- Deepen the Outer Corner: For more definition, apply a darker shade to the outer corner of the eye and blend it inwards to create a seamless gradient.
- Highlight the Lid: Use your ring finger or a flat brush to gently press a shimmer or pearl shade onto the center of the eyelid to brighten the eye area.
- Lower Lash Line: Apply a little of the crease color along the lower lash line to balance the look.
- Inner Corner Highlight: Use a light shimmery shade on the inner corner of the eye to finish the look and make the eyes pop.
Face Makeup Steps (Blush, Contour, Highlight)
- Contouring: Take an appropriate amount of contour powder on a brush. Apply it to the hollows of your cheeks (cheekbones), hairline, and jawline, blending from the outside in to create a natural, sculpted effect.
- Blush: Smile in front of the mirror and use a brush to apply the blush color to the apples of your cheeks and blend slightly upwards towards the temples for a healthy, rosy appearance.
- Highlighting: After setting your makeup, dip a brush into a highlighting powder. Gently apply it to the high points of your face: the bridge of the nose, cheekbones, and brow bone areas.
