Step-by-step guide

1. Prime your eyelids: Apply an eyeshadow primer to create a smooth base and help the shadow last longer.
2. Apply a light base color: Sweep a light matte or shimmery shade over the entire eyelid and up into the eye socket. This will even out your skin tone and create a seamless canvas for the duochrome shadow.
3. Apply the duochrome shade: Use a dense, flat brush or your fingertip to apply the duochrome shadow. Pat the color onto the inner corner of your eye and the center of your eyelid.
4. Blend the colors: Use a clean blending brush to gently blend the edges of the duochrome shadow into the light base color. Blend outwards towards the outer corner of the eye to create a smooth gradient.
5. Enhance the look: For more intensity, layer the duochrome shadow over a complementary base color or apply it with a damp brush for a richer, more vibrant finish. You can also add eyeliner and mascara to complete the look.
