Step 1: Prepare your eyelids

• Apply an eyeshadow primer to your eyelids to help the colors pop and last longer, as shown in this Maybelline tutorial. 

Step 2: Create a transition and lid base 

• Use a fluffy brush to apply a medium matte shade from the palette into your crease and blend it to create a transition zone.
• Apply the lightest color to your entire eyelid with a flat brush or your finger. 

Step 3: Build depth and intensity 

• Use a smaller, denser brush to apply a darker shade to the outer corner of your eyelid and blend it into the crease for a more dramatic look.
• For a more intense effect, apply a second layer of color to build up the intensity. 

Step 4: Add highlights and finish 

• Use a clean, small brush or your finger to apply a light shimmery or matte shade to the inner corner of your eye and under the brow bone to highlight and open up the eye.
• Use a blending brush to blend all the colors together until there are no harsh lines, as shown in this YouTube video.
• Apply eyeliner and mascara to complete the look.
