Before application

Application techniquesFor a natural or defined look

1. For the upper lash line: Starting from the inside corner, draw a thin line as close to your lashes as possible, extending to the outer corner of your eye.
2. For the lower lash line: Apply a thin line to the outer half of the lower lash line. For more dramatic definition, apply it to the entire lower lash line, going from the inner to outer corner.
3. For tightlining (lining the waterline): Close your eye and use the pencil to gently apply it to the "tightline" - the area where the lashes meet the skin. 

For a smokey eye look

1. Apply the pencil along both the upper and lower lash lines.
2. Before it sets, quickly use a blending brush to smudge the liner to create a soft, smoky effect. 

For a winged or cat-eye look

1. Draw a thin line along the upper lash line.
2. Extend the line slightly beyond the outer corner of your eye to create the "cat-eye" flick. You can draw it slightly longer than the point where your eyelid begins. 

Finishing touches

• For a professional look, apply a second coat to the lash line to make it darker.
• Complete the look with mascara to elevate your eye makeup.
• To help the eyeliner last longer, you can set it by lightly tapping a translucent powder over it with a small brush or cotton swab.

• For a smudge-proof finish, set the eyeliner with a translucent powder after it dries.
