Step 1: Prepare your nails

• Wash your hands with soap and water to ensure nails are clean and dry.
• If using, apply a nail serum and massage it into your nails and cuticles.
• Before painting, if you have any lotion or oil on your nails, use rubbing alcohol to clean them and ensure the polish adheres properly. 

Step 2: Apply the nail enamel 

• Apply a thin layer of the Hi-Shine Nail Enamel to your nails.
• Place one drop of polish near the cuticle in the center of the nail.
• Swipe the brush in a straight line up to the tip of the nail.
• Return to the base of the nail and swipe the brush along one side, then repeat for the other side.
• Ensure you "cap" the edge of the nail by swiping the brush across the tip to help prevent chipping. 

Step 3: Apply additional coats and top coat 

• If the color isn't opaque enough, apply a second thin coat and let it dry completely before adding another.
• Once the color coats are dry, apply a final layer of clear top coat to seal the color and add extra shine.
• Allow all layers to dry completely. While you can often use your hands gently after about 20 minutes, nail polish takes between one and two hours to fully dry
