1. Preparation

• Patch Test: Perform a 48-hour allergy test before each use.
• Gather Supplies: You'll need Bigen powder, room-temp tap water, a non-metallic bowl, a brush, gloves (included), old towels, and potentially Vaseline/cold cream for skin.
• Protect Skin & Clothes: Wear gloves, an old t-shirt, and apply Vaseline/cold cream around your hairline and ears to prevent stains.
• Hair Prep: Ensure hair is clean, dry, and free of product buildup. 

2. Mixing

• Pour the powder into a non-metallic bowl.
• Add the specified amount of room-temperature tap water (use the provided measuring tray).
• Mix thoroughly with a brush until it's a smooth, lump-free, pudding-like paste. 

3. Application & Development

• Apply Quickly: Work in small sections, starting at the grayest areas if needed, applying to dry hair.
• Cover All Hair: Comb through to ensure every strand is coated.
• Wait: Develop for 20-30 minutes (or 15 mins for chemically treated hair); don't exceed 40 mins total time.
• Check Color: Wipe a strand with a damp paper towel to check for desired color. 

4. Rinsing & Aftercare

• Rinse Well: Rinse with warm water until it runs clear.
• Shampoo: Shampoo and condition with color-safe products.
